What other extensions do you have ? Are any of them marked 'legacy'?
None of the add-ons I have are marked as 'legacy'. The ones I have installed are: uBlock Origin, NoScript, HTTPS Everywhere, Privacy Badger, Canvas Defender, Flagfox and Self-Destructing Cookies. You may want to have a look at this page: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/Overlay_Extensions I'm using FF 52.3.0 which is the current version for Leap 42.3 that comes from the OSS repo. According to the above web page, starting with FF 53, "no new legacy add-ons will be accepted on addons.mozilla.org (AMO) for desktop Firefox and Firefox for Android" and "Starting from Firefox 57, only extensions developed using WebExtensions APIs will be supported on Desktop Firefox and Firefox for Android." So it's not until FF 57 that extensions which developers fail to port over to the WebExtensions API will not work anymore. One other bit of information I gleaned from the above linked page which may or may not have something to do with your issue, is: "Even before Firefox 57, changes coming up in the Firefox platform will break many legacy extensions." And lastly, it appears that FF 55 is the first release from Mozilla that flags non-WebExtension add-ons as 'Legacy': http://techdows.com/2017/05/firefox-55-flags-non-webextension-add-ons-legacy... and some further reading: https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2017/08/01/noscripts-migration-to-webextensi... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
