Hello, please do not post your same problem several times and on several different mailing lists simultaneously - except you really want to cause excitement ;-) On Oct 23 09:15 John Pierce wrote (shortened):

Is it an update (if yes from which older version) or a new installation (from scratch)?
cannot print to my networked laser printer. I have opensuse 10.1 I386 installed on 4 other machines and all have had the printer configured through localhost:631 and all function well.
The printer is a Konica/Minolta Magicolor 2430 DL network printer.
I will post sever logs below:
This is the log with the standard error level of "info": ... I [23/Oct/2006:08:46:08 -0500] Started filter /usr/lib64/cups/filter/rastertokm2430dl (PID 7462) for job 7. ... E [23/Oct/2006:08:46:08 -0500] PID 7462 stopped with status 22!
Here you posted which process actually has "PID 7462" (in contrast to your posting on the CUPS mailing list which lead me into a totally wrong direction). rastertokm2430dl is not provided by any of our packages. It is a third-party printer driver software supplied by Konica Minolta: http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_driver.cgi?driver=rastertokmXXXXdl I assume this third-party printer driver software does not run on 64-bit platforms (i.e. it is 32-bit only software). If my assumtions are right, ask the manufacturer of this printer driver software to provide you a 64-bit version. In general 32-bit software should run on AMD 64-bit systems but you need appropriate 32-bit library packages installed. Do a ldd /usr/lib64/cups/filter/rastertokm2430dl to see which libraries this parogram needs (if it is a binary and not a script). Then install the matching 32-bit library packages. As far as I know there is a section in YaST where yo can select those 32-bit packages. If even this does not work, install the 32-bit version of Suse Linuix 10.1 on your AMD 64-bit system - at least to verify that it is actually a 64-bit versus 32-bit problem. By the way: We may include their free drivers into future products (after oenSUSE 10.2) but at the moment we don't have them included.
