I was looking for a favourite package "grip" but it did not appear through yast software management module. I've got many of the community repositories installed including the ones for KDE and GNOME as well as the default opensuse ones.
I did a google search and found the package located in an opensuse multimedia repository.
next time looking for openSUSE packaged apps, use: http://software.opensuse.org/search
This multimedia repository is not included in the repository list and I was wondering why. Can anyone shed some light? The address is:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/multimedia:/apps/openSUSE_11.4/ x86_64
What "list" are you referring? The url *is* in the opensuse repositories as indicated by your post.
In yast there is the option to manage repositories. From there one can select to add a repository. I selected community repositories thinking that all the opensuse repositories would appear in that list, but apparently not and I was wondering why? -- Delight thyself also in the Lord and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
