Dear List, I wanted to ask the community about these issues I have had with suse 11.3 (32 bit, KDE 4.4.4) before starting to file bug reports. - When installing using a DVD iso (some one month ago) downloaded from opensuse.org, the MD5 hash sums did not match. .. I had to install using the network installation instead. - openoffice hangs when trying to export excel tables. - multimedia is, as usual, pretty hosed. When opening a folder which has . mov (quicktime) movies, dolphin crashes. This is because it tries to create a preview and as always, xine backend does not work at all with quicktime files. - .. I tried to fix the following problem (worked with earlier suse versions) by installing the vlc phonon backend. But on the other hand, when I go to the kde configuration module and click "multimedia" I get a kde crash announcement. No way to enter the "multimedia" module. - I am getting all the time kde crash announcements concerning knotify. - Amarok does not start but it crashes (probably because of that multimedia thing). Any ideas how to fix these issues? Regards, Sampsa -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
