I get the same response. lynx doesn't work. I think I'll just forget lynx. I was only trying it as a lark. I use netscape and w3m. I don't use ppp or dhcp. This host has a fixed ip and I connect to the internet via a gateway system running ipforwarding. The network has a working DNS, pop3, netscape, pine, w3m, fetchmail, nslookup....you name it and it's likely on this system and is working...just lynx is having a problem.
