I tested the Power Quest Drive Image 2.0. It supports ext2 but is not able to resize the partitions. Maybe later versions... Martin Mielke wrote:

Hello Jack and the others,
I also CC to the SuSE list because I think that this could be interesting for the rest as well...
Are you talking about "Ghost", the same utility used on the Windows machines to clone hard disks?
Hi Martin, Yes i am talking about the ghost program that comes with nortons/symantec. It nice for using to copy/move an existing harddrive to a new one. I gave it a try on saturday an it wanted to increase the linux partitions, i'm not sure this is a good ideal on linux. It works with no trouble to increase windows partitions even ntfs. Im just wondering if anyone has done it linux partitions an if they ran into any trouble.
Oops! but it's still (only) for Windoze... I'm looking for something similar for either Linux or Solaris... and please, don't tell me to use 'dd'... :-)
I am just replying to you since Im at work an can not send to the list from this address..
Hmmm... yes, you can :-)
