It's because you have an OOo Writer icon on the desktop, and it's trying to load that icon. That icon's no longer included, and you're clearly using an icon theme that doesn't include it either. Is this reusing an old GNOME setup? The icon is now simply called ooo-writer.png.
reusing ? I started a new login session using gnome desktop. I NORMALLY use KDE, but I am trying out gnome. The icon isn't actually on the desktop it is in the tray at the top, right inbetween Evolution and susewatcher. When I first started gnome the evolution button gave me an error also, said it couldn't find evolution-2. I installed evolution, changed the command to evolution, and now it works too.
Right-click on the launcher, select Properties. Then click on the icon button, and either browse, or just type in the text field "/usr/share/pixmaps/ooo-writer.png" (without the quotes), and click OK. wow, now I have a nice OO icon !!
