[opensuse] 12.3 Moving SQL and phpmyadmin databases and settings

Hi all, I was wondering if it is possible to change where mariadb ad phpmyadmin saves its data to my second partition. the phpmyadmin files are already on the separate partition but I was unsure if it saved any data elsewhere that would be required to restore it?
