Looking at the settings I got following differences.
monitor hor. vert.
I 9.3 L7031 30-70 47-104 according to monitor manual II 9.3 TVM LR-4DC 30-50 50-120 according to sax list III 10 L703X 30-69 50-90 according to sax list
Both under I and III my monitor blacks out regular (5 to 10 minutes) Under II my monitor is stable and does not black out.
You give three possible monitor id's. Go to the manufacturer's web side and get the EXACT specs, Horizontal Sync and Vertical Refresh. Then go to runlevel 3 and as root start sax2 and plug-in the correct values for your monitor according to the manufacturer and forget what the table advised. (the windoz install disk for your monitor should contain the correct rates in an xxx.inf text file.) If you still have problems, you probably have a monitor that is going away and will need to be replaced when you become agrivated enough. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2
