Hi All, I don't know why S.u.S.E doesn't have any newsgroup for their product while other linux distributor has theirs? Anyway, I suggest there should be newsgroups so we don't have to browse through 5-6 hundred email to find out answers to our problem. I think its not me, but most of you out there feel the same way. So, we all need to send our feedback to S.u.S.E Inc. our need as customers.
...and HOW would a NEWSGROUP be easier to find what you're looking for with all the extra trash/noise that would undoubtedly exist? How is that better than a mailing list?
I'd have to agree with Brad on this one. The newsgroup would add a ton of noise vs what's on the list. More spam for all, etc. Just read some of the newsgroups now, and you'll get the idea.
To avoid that just don't subscribe to the newsgroup, that doesn't means that the mailing list should disappear. Anyway I think we all should support that idea, even if we won't use it, that could be a good way for share information, and introduce other people to SUSE. -- Xavi Navarro xnavarro@redestb.es www.redestb.es/personal/xnavarro ICQ: 4244002 - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
