Any comments from SuSE on this post copied from the Portland Linux Users Group?
Apparently, many of the programs they ship are not free, or so I've heard. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I am always sceptical about statements that end with this phrase, as in "Many people make frequent, serious factual errors, or so I've heard." :-) Here is a question for the SuSE guys, from a new SuSE customer: Which parts of the SuSE CD's cannot be copied? For example, Redhat ships Metro-X, which you cannot freely redistribute. Are there any similar restrictions that would prevent me from making copies of the SuSE distribution? Mark. PS, In general I do avoid using non-open source things like QT. markh@usai.asiainfo.com Mark Harrison at AsiaInfo Computer Networks, Beijing China -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
