I wonder if we do actually create /var/log/journal in the default setup. I mean, a desktop machine doesn't need a persistent log.
Hehe, first they replaced syslog (which was always running since 20 years without bothering anybody) by journald. That's why nowadays even people, who never heard about logging and never watched it, painfully learned to know how bad logging could be. :) Thus we simply disable logging per default now? No, we should remove/shrink journald as good as possible and run syslog per default again! cu, Rudi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
