[SuSE Linux] remote X problem/question

I'm getting a problem with suse 5.2 and X -- it seems to be ignoring my DISPLAY environment variable. This used to work on 5.1: 1) Start the X-server (Hummingbird Exceed on NT [I know, I'm working on it!]) 2) Telent to pallmall (my linux server) 3) export DISPLAY=lansdowne:0 (the NT box) 4) startx & This now starts my X session on the linux system monitor, and not on the NT system. I'm making the assumption that there's a security option I need to diddle somewhere -- the question is where?
