No pcmcia power

I'm running SuSE 9.3 Pro on my Compaq Presario 2800T (1.4 P4, 20GB hd)
and I'm trying to get my wireless card (D-Link DWL-G630) working.  I'm
using the Linuxant Driverloader and it installed via YaST without error.
The computer recognizes the card and I've configured it in YaST, but the
card doesn't seem to be getting any power.  I get no lights on the card
and, naturally, the computer can't/won't make use of it.  Is there a way
to determine if I'm missing some sort of plug-in or module support for
pcmcia?
