I use Acrobat 7.0.1 under SuSE 10.0 I can't print figures or maps from the Acroread program. When I click on "print", the printer shows that it is collecting data and then just stops. I can't print anything else on that printer until I reboot! Is there some way I can make this work?
You could be exceeding the printer's available memroy. Did you try selecting the "Save Printer Memory" option in the Print dialog?
I checked "save printer memory". The Data light on my Lexmark Optra E310 flashed for a while, then stopped. nothing happened. After a while, I tried to print something else on the printer, but the data light would not flash, and nothing else happened. I'll update Acrobat to 7.0.5 and see if that works.
