That makes sense to me. I was originally suspicious that the key stored in the db was somehow being sent to the server instead of the unencrypted version. But I could not see how both Firefox and Chrome could do the same thing. Some JavaScript in the page itself must be the culprit. Probably they never tried from other than Windows.
