Hi, I suppose, it's a question of setting the access rights properly (Read info chmod for further details). Try the following: # chmod 744 /usr/local/httpd/htdocs/index.html (ore where else your corresponding file is located). BTW if you're talking about SuSE the files should be located at: /usr/share/doc/susehilf/ Greetings, Jo. Am Montag, 15. Oktober 2001 04:47 schrieb Curtis Rey:
When I point my browser to "http://localhost/hilfe/index.html" I get the following message: "Forbidden You don't have permission to access /hilfe/index.html on this server."
I have been trying to configure apache and httpd to allow me to access the sdb and other help pages. I have little to no experience at this and have tried to read the man and README pages, but I have hit a wall.
TIA Curtis
