AFAIK, the SuSE packages contain only the necessary patch that allows you to use above-mentioned extension. Please note that you also need either the Mnenhy or Enigmail extension installed. See web site for further details.
I think you are talking of a diferent thing. I talk of the standard suse thunderbird, with the suse suplied enigmail, both updated by YOU, and not of an user added extension. And from the little I have read, that extension you propose needs version 3 and/or a full recompile. No thanks. The one supplied by suse does not have a reply to button, but replaces the function of the reply to all button.
