does anyone know where I should start looking? Just ideas:
1-if not using en_US, switch KB type to en_US to see if it has any effect
2-if you have a spare keyboard, plug it into another port, and/or try another port with the keyboard you normally use
3-if you haven't already, do updates with Zypper or YaST
4-if you haven't already, reboot
5-create another user, log into it to see if problem exists there too
6-share your /var/log/Xorg.0.log if you need further help Thanks Felix. 1 I use an en_US keyboard

I'll let you know as soon as I nailed it. I'm reading the Xorg.0.log file as we speak to see if it has anything helpful. Thanks again. .-- Jos van Kan registered Linux user #152704 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
