I have a belkin "nostromo - N50" gamepad. I have been playing around with an open source dirver that is being developed by a couple of people from belken. At on point it "kinda" worked but everything in the Makefile is commented out and one has to guess about which features/commands to uncomment - hence why it "kinda" worked. So, after trying a few things it is apparent the it most likely has been registered more then once and may very well be conflicting with itself. I have noticed in the Hardware info page of YaST CC the it has both an old_unique_key and a Unique_key. I had to delete a unique key before to get my sound card to re-install back in SuSE 7.x. So I'm thinking that it might be worth removing this key and starting over again - but I can't remember where these keys are kept. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
