I am having trouble getting my printcap files correct, would some kind sole please give me the basic setup for a 300 dpi postscript printer located at 172.22.1.3 with a print queue named psprint?
Joe, Attached below is file /etc/printcap for my SuSE 5.1 machine. The network printer is actually an Intel Netport print server with LPT1 and LPT2 ports. I have a HP 5MP (LPT1) and Canon BJC600 (LPT2) connected to the printer. Entry for 'remote', HP LJ, BJC600 was added using YaST. There are a couple of manual entries as well.
