I am having trouble getting my printcap files correct, would some kind sole please give me the basic setup for a 300 dpi postscript printer located at 172.22.1.3 with a print queue named psprint?
Well I too had problems using Yast to do this job... I doesn't seem that it can
be used to set up remote printers (despite it saying it can I think)
Here is a sample from my /etc/printcap which may help. Note this is on a
RedHat 4.2 machine
# /etc/printcap

# Please don't edit this file directly unless you know what you are doing!
# Be warned that the control-panel printtool requires a very strict format!
# Look at the printcap(5) man page for more info.
#
# This file can be edited with the printtool in the control-panel.

Note the machine hosting the printer queues is called aphex.
