Hi, My mouse (one of those nice silver MS explorer optical jobbies) is broken ... no I mean really. It doesn't work under Linux or Windows anymore. Naturally enough, as would any self-respecting computer phreak, I have a more than sufficient supply of ordinary rodents and fitted one (an ordinary Microsoft PS/2 wheelly mouse) which works fine in Windows but not in Linux. I've edited my /etc/X11/XF86Config file with no joy but still no mouse ... currently the relevant section says: Section "InputDevice" Driver "mouse" Identifier "Mouse[1]" Option "ButtonNumber" "3" Option "Device" "/dev/mouse" Option "InputFashion" "Mouse" Option "Name" "Autodetection" Option "Protocol" "ps/2" Option "Vendor" "Sysp" EndSection Any ideas?
