Konqueror seemed to work better for me in the pre-releases than the final. It cores on me rather quickly before I get a chance to use it.

That's odd. I can't remember the last time I saw Konqueror crash and I use every day. I compile the stable branch of CVS every few days so I have the advantage of being up to date and self compiled, but I'm surprised it's that bad for you.
