Now that I have SuSE 6.1 installed. I'd like to give gnome another try. I've used it before on another distribution. Looking at the rpms listed under the gnm series, there seems to be quite a few! In fact there are more there than I remember having to install. I searched the support database under gnome and also looked in the manual but I have not found any instructions for installing gnome from the SuSE 6.1 cdroms. Do I just select all of the files listed under the gnm series? If you do that you start to get questions about dependencies and whether you want to auto select other files needed. As I have a slow internet connection, I'd like to avoid just giving up and downloading it all from www.gnome.org. Anyone had any success at installing gnome from the SuSE 6.1 cdroms? If so, which files did you install? Thanks, Sean Kelley _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
