Has anyone tried downloading 10.3 recently? I just tried downloading 10.3 32 bit x86 DVD but the iso file seems to be corrupt. It is only 105MB.
I had to grab one off of kernel.org twice. The first one was corrupt and the second had the proper md5sums. I suspect that my problem was KDE on 10.2 snarfing the wget process while "killing" my login when my wife did a Switch user to her profile (she had been logged in first). I ended up doing a very controlled overnight run of the script (attached below) and the md5sum matched.
I checked several mirrors and they are all the same.
Here is that script, note that this is all one line and the secondary path will need to be adjusted to suit your needs, usually i have this script in the same directory as the download destination.
wget -c ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/opensuse/distribution/10.3/iso/dvd/openSUSE-10.3-GM-DVD-i386.iso /home/Mike/Desktop/openSUSE-10.3-GM-DVD-i386.iso
I just yesterday downloaded (again) the ISO using bittorrent. It was fast and correct on the first go. 10.3 has been out long enough that there are a lot of seeders (myself included). -- ----------JSA--------- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
