I have a life, so I don't have time to keep checking the various web sites. Ever heard about newsfeeds?
So, I'm supposed to subscribe to a news feed, just to find out when the latest version has been released?

Its been clear for some time that opensuse would like to see this list die .
I don't believe that it is openSUSE that would like to see the list die. the users have made monumental efforts toward that end, and with your help. what is the saying about results obtained using vinegar or honey?
I would hate to see this list disappear. I have been accused of making stupid mistakes, and am probably guilty of same, but never on purpose. There are at least two groups that use the list, engineers and computer scientists. I feel some leeway for another background might be helpful. What are the efforts to making the list die that you refer to. Is it attitude, or something more sinister?
