I've recently updated gnome-do from the repos and now have 0.8.0-2.1. Unfortunately my plugins are no longer working. Any idea on how to get these back? I see that there is no longer a gnome-do- plugins package for 0.8.0x either.

Since there were no responses I decided to post my solution to my problem. 1) Download the gnome-do-plugins.deb from: http://ppa.launchpad.net/do-core/ppa/ubuntu/pool/main/g/gnome-do-plugins/ 2) Open the deb pkg with file-roller and extract data.tar.gz. 3) Copy the "doc/gnome-do-plugins" directory to /usr/share/doc/ and "gnome-do" directory to "/usr/share/". 4) Restart gnome-do. 5) From gnome-do preferences activate the preferred plugins. Take note, everything seems to run smoothly unless you enable the Gnome Dictionary and/or Wordnet plugins. They result in the temporary hanging for a time when entering text mode and typing. My console displayed the following: GNOME.DefineAction "Define" encountered an error in SupportsItem: Out of memory. GNOME.DefineAction "Define" encountered an error in SupportsItem: Out of memory. Simulacra.WordnetAction "Wordnet" encountered an error in SupportsItem: Out of memory. Simulacra.WordnetAction "Wordnet" encountered an error in SupportsItem: Out of memory. Disabling the dictionaries allowed the performance to return to normal. I guess I won't be using the dictionary plugins with gnome-do for now. --Shawn -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
