Hmm, not quite correct: [sttr]/home/sttr> l /bin/ls -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 52292 Nov 8 20:51 /bin/ls* Anyone can run ls. It's more important that those users, unlike root, don't have write permissions everywhere.
