[SuSE Linux] xserver problem

Hi ! I got suse linux 5.3 today and since it's the first time I use it, I don't know much about it. So now I have a problem. When I'm using sax to configure xwindow I can't use a specific server for my card, since it's matrox productiva g100 so I guess I have to use xsvga, and then I write in my monitors sync spec (which btw are 30-70 khz, 50-150 hz) and then enters the desktop page, where the real problem is. There are no screenmodes to choose. Not in any colors.
