Linux developer Mandriva has updated its operating-system-on-a-stick with the release of Mandriva Flash 2010 which includes a bootable version of the software on a USB Flash drive.
Available from mid-December, Mandriva Flash 2010 puts the latest version of Mandriva Linux onto an 8GB Flash drive, which has 6GB free for a user's own documents and files.
So this is like a Live CD/DVD but on and including the stick?

Unlike a live CD, you can actually keep your changes, and store your documents on the stick. Its not read-only. I have one of these made of Damn Small Linux. I can borrow a computer in a library, pop in my stick and type one command to boot my linux distro. -- A computer without Microsoft is like a chocolate cake without mustard. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
