Hi,
My amavis-new leaves a lot of directories under "/var/spool/amavis/tmp/". I have there 172 directories, using around 4 megabytes. The first one is dated Oct 7 2005, and the last five are from today.
Each directory is of the form
amavis-20080522T130059-00340 (dir) |-- email.txt (file) `-- parts (dir) (empty)
Why is not this garbage removed automatically when amavis finishes scanning them? They are not all of them spam, some are from this list. Some are even emails sent from me to myself!
Is it a bug, or could be a misconfiguration on my part?

My setup only has 4 such directories, the oldest was two days ago which coincides with my last power-failure induced reboot (FWIW). Doing an rcamavis restart cleared all but two that were the oldest. Those two have a create time about the time of the power failure. So maybe these abandoned ones happened at similar times for your system. Do an rcamavis restart and see how many disappear. -- ----------JSA--------- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
