As the Subject heading states, does openSUSE have the ability to use a Touch Screen for operating the system? Anybody know, thanks? Yes, it does, I'm using it at the moment. In my case, it didn't require any configuration at all. It supports pointing, scrolling, right-clicking, zooming. Same here. Works fine (out of the box) with my Acer tablet touch screen.
UI usability with touch... that's a different issue.

But still a hassle, eh? :-( (I remember many moons ago [and then some :-) ] when Dragon Speak first hit the scene and everybody was OOOWing and AAAHing but in the end almost everything now accepts voice commands - even my el cheapo satnav unit I bought for the car. But Touch Screen for Linux.....? Ooops.....hassles..... Well, not quite actually, openSUSE perhaps from what you state but it actually works on the Android tablet I bought my wife several days ago. Win some, lose some I guess....)
