An rpm that comes with 10.1 called usbview provides lots of valuable info. and it is a binary. Also a Perl script I have had for awhile called usbtree down loadable from http://www.linux-usb.org/usbtree no longer work. They did with 10.0 and back. Obviously the kernel guys have redesigned the USB subsystem. These scripts are dependent on /proc/bus/usb/devices being present. With 10.1 the devices directory is not existent. Does any one know how to get these programs working? Do I need to file a bug report with SUSE to get this working? Cheers, Bob
