What exactly are you trying to accomplish.. ? you can get the newest kernel by using the Kernel:HEAD repository.
Now if the patch you need hasn't been merged.. you have two choices
- Pester maintainers/developers to merge it. - Wait until it is merged
Using random patches not coming from maintainers’ trees or mainline is not a good idea.
