Hi everybody, I use to have no problems with Smart, but since last week I cannot update from Packman repositories anymore (I tried 3 mirrors with the same results). I get the suggested upgrades, but when Smart tries to download the packages I get a "connection reset by peer" error. All other channels work fine. A friend of mine told me today he has the same problem. Is anybody else experiencing this problem?

Well, the MD5 aren't matching when I try - files size incorrect errors. I also frequently run into problems with *asc files (pgp). I don't know if it's because so many different people are submitting packages or if just overworked (and hence a tad sloppy about updating the site). I usually end up dl'ing the rpm's directly and then installing them (and they're usually locked files - as in YaST marks them as locked {little padlock symbol} which means YaST is always trying to re-install them) I don't know about smart - don't us it (in 10.0 OSS land). On that note all I can say is I hope "NOVELL" get the update/package sys fixed - if not by 10.2 I'm likely gone!
