Listmates,
Our local public radio station transmitter is down and I was trying to get the audio stream to play in realplayer on openSuSE 11.0, but nothing would play. I chose amarok and all is playing fine. The stream I wanted to listed to can be found here in both .pls and .m3u format:

Is realplayer broken? Can anyone else get the .pls or .m3u streams to play in realplayer? (you get a bit of culture as well, it's classical until 3:00 pm CDT. or 2000 UTC (zulu))
It's crashing RealPlayer on a Mac. It works on iTunes on a Mac. In the playlist file there seems to be an advertisement in the front of the program stream and this seems to crash RealPlayer.
Ahha! Thanks Tony. I do very little media listening on the pc, so I didn't even know what culprits to look for. Think of the irony here... A "public" broadcast station (PBS - Governmentally supported) with problems in its broadcast stream due to "commercials" at the front. Oh, what a tangled web we weave... Randall, good to know it works in 11.1, but 11.0 is dead in the water. I guess it is something that should be bugged. If 11.1 handles the format w/commercials fine, then that tells me there is a problem with the same on 11.0. Thanks for your help Randall and Tony. -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
