Hi there! Does this only happen to me? Netscape plugins used to work fine in my out-of-the box SuSE 7.2 installation. However to the KDE 2.2.1 I downloaded from SuSE, when I hit a web page with Flash -- and believe me, there are PLENTY of those --, Konqueror more or less freezes. CTRL-ESC takes me to the task manager, where I see that a process called "nspluginviewer" is taking 85% to 95% of the processor time. If I kill this process, things go back to normal, but only until I find flash again. I can configure Konqueror to ignore Netscape plugins, but there are innumerable pages that not only won't load anymore, but will also open not one, but FOUR windows in macromedia.com gently inviting me to download the Flash plugin. I have downloaded every KDE 221 file from SuSE; they updated KDE221 base twice in two days, but none of the updates cures this problem. ¿Any suggestions? I'd be grateful.
