Have a nice day, R.
Thanks for the advice, Do have 7.1 installed but was thinking about reinstalling from Packman. What makes me think it is not a kaffeine problem is that I can navigate to the .vob an it will open and play fine. Just the autostart part that gives me that message about codecs. Think I'll give it a try though and see what happens
Now I don't know about Kaffeine, but with the default xine-ui, you don't have to navigate to the .vob. Have you tried hitting the little DVD button at the bottom of the controller? Just a thought. I know that for the most part, mine doesn't work by hitting the play button. But hitting the DVD button starts the disk. Just a thought.
