My solution is to put "satan" in my twit filter, as well as automatically forward any more personal remarks from him, to this list.
I would ask you to not... just because the rest of us don't need to see

My policy, whenever wrongly attacked in newsgroups or lists, is to immediately place the offender's remarks into the public venue. This has never failed to tone down any idiot who thinks he can get away with posting abusive remarks to someone in private e-mail. He either quiets down, disappears (for a while at least), or is bumped out if he persists. I once had a rather nasty homophobe in a newsgroup, attack me in private mail. So I reposted his mail to the newsgroup, and he was most upset...accusing me of violating his "right to privacy". I told him, he lost all those rights by threatening me without any provocation on my part. The result? I nipped his spewing in the bud. Had I maintained a private venue, he would have continued to dump his bullcrap into my mailbox. I do not take it upon myself, to let anyone vent their hatred upon me...for I am no one's whipping post, on whatever issue. Ergo, I refuse to assume the duty of a social worker by allowing whatever fool to dump diatribe in my mail, without alerting the public. I find that peer pressure has never failed, in my experience regarding how to deal with such attacks from online groups. As to whether or not you need to see this...well, I think you do, since that is where the abusive party originates. AFAIK, "satan" is a regular contributor to this SuSE list. (If he has been so friendly and helpful to many people--as indeed he claims--then he has even less excuse for his arrogant attack upon me.) That way, report of his doings to "abuse@suse.com" will be performed by more than one participant, instead of just myself. Were I to respect "satan"'s wishes to keep his blathering private, I would just be doing exactly what he wants. Then, complaining to "abuse@suse.com" would be virtually ineffectual. Should he continue his abuse towards me: by my forwarding it to the list, he becomes witnessed by the public...and then several people who care enough, can report his abuse against another participant, to "abuse@suse.com". Those who are blaming me for pointing out his attack, are rather narrow-minded themselves (and wilfull accomplice to "satan")...though I'm sure they'd alert the group, if something similar happened to them. I will not reply to his spewing any more (and I never intended to, anyway)...that is the best I can offer you...but I *will forward anything else he sends to me in private, to this list...in hopes that he will be reprimanded by other participants herein, as well as reported to "abuse@suse.com", along with my complaint. I believe that my stance has already had the desired effect. The only arrogant replies I am currently receiving, is by several other participants, who are heaping the blame of "satan"'s attacks upon me, only because I made them aware of it. I do not see "satan" continuing his nasty behavior. Surely, you don't think "satan" should not be told to chill out, do you? What are you so afraid of, by telling him so? (I can't help but laugh over the fact he uses the handle "satan" in his e-mail. This puts me in the metaphorical position of wrestling with the devil!) I will also say: to anyone else attacked in private, by another group member, please *do let us all know...and I, for one, will defend you. So...has *anyone yet confronted darling "satan" (Michael Lankton <satan@nfinity.com>)?
