UUgh, Bummer, this is with the open-driver and it applies to all RTX 20 series (Turing microarchitecture) and later. And even then you have the choice whether to use the open-driver or the closed-binary-blob. Thankfully (or unfortunately) I haven't got anything near that new. My kids get all the new RTX stuff, I just have a bone-pile of leftovers from the GTX-980 on backwards (funny how that works out) Honestly, the G02 cards back to the GX-260/280 are plenty fast for me :) If you can't use DRM with the open-driver, check the closed driver and see if it will let you do it. I can't be much help pointing you to where the different drivers are in openSUSE/Community/etc... Never been down that road... -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
