Please, do yourself a favor and do NOT delete a *.repo file, but rename it. Yep. I remember now. I can then go back to it. Slapped wrists. Bad file management.
e.g. "mv Printing.repo Printing.repobak" Does this prevent it updating? I mean yast online update. If possible.
Yes, the repo is no longer available at all, until the rename is undone.
But, a even more easy and transparent way to stop updateing and installing from a repo is to disable it.
e.g. "zypper -mr -R -d Printing" zypper -mr -R -d Printing Unknown option 'm'
ARGS! Typo. That should be: "zypper mr -R -d Printing"
mr = modifyrepo -R = --no-refresh = disable autorefresh -d = --disable = disable repo
- Yamaban. YES, that's it! It doesn't touch Printing at all. Magically I have no ticks: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_uUt0LyuuEdSWExeTV2Zk84X0U/view?usp=sharin...
I'm guessing the difficulty with non yast repositories is that they are to be discouraged for newcomers? e.g. the chromium repository can be added with just a few clicks. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
