IIRC, what you need to get you going is to boot with both nomodeset and vga=normal on cmdline. Getting Linda's attention might also help.

Doing an HTTP install would enable you to include the updates repo and never have to boot the broken driver config.
I have it on the system. I have updated it to the latest version Unable to get the network to work during install. Even though both onboard nics are connected and working after an install.
