The PPP setup led me up the garden path until I resorted in going and reading some to the Suse scripts to see what it was trying to do.... The manual was misleading in a few places. An I still have not managed to connect to my ISP. For some reason the CHAP authentication is failing, and I've even copied my slackware chap-secrests file to ensure I didn't mistype anything. Why don't you just connect with Kppp? That's what I do. It can be setup in 5minutes (I timed it:)
[snip] Really?! What scripts do you have to manually edit to get it to work? Just using Kppp doesn't work here.
