[opensuse] Nvidia driver 440.44 won't compile with stable kernel 5.5.0-1

As the Subject states, the Nvidia driver will not compile using the 5.5.0-1 kernel -- stops with an error during the compiling stage. Anyone aware of any "fixes", please?
