I've been trying to find how to use the Rescue System to restore the MBR after I reload a Win2K Partition without success. I'm sure it can't be too difficult, but I've searched the help system, the SuSE web site to no avail.
Can someone point me in the right direction for this? All help greatly appreciated.

I know that for me, using Win95, Mandrake and LiLo, I booted from my Mandrake floppy bootdisk, logged on as root, and ran the '/sbin/lilo'. This restored my MBR and my ability to boot into linux if I wanted to. YMMV depending on the bootloader you use. -- ======================================================================== Hylton Conacher - Licenced Windows user Registered Linux user # 229959 Using Linux Mandrake 9.0 with KDE 3 on a 2.4.19-16mdk kernel Soon to be v9 Susian ========================================================================
