Listmates,
Yast/Zypper software management and online update modules have become slower and slower over the past few weeks. I have read in the past on the list that I may need to wipe out the cache? and let it rebuild. I think that's worth at try. What exactly do I need to delete? Which files?

This is true for 10.2. ---------------------------- 1) Run rczmd stop 2) Go to file /var/lib/zmd and delete zmd.db (You may feel more comfortable renaming it) 3) Run rczmd start (If you then go back to /var/lib/zmd, you'll see that it has re-created zmd.db but it will likely be much smaller than the one you renamed) 4) That clears zmd, but there may be updates out there that zen will no longer notify you of, so run YAsT Online-Update to get any pending updates. At this point, everything should be back in sync and zen should work again the next time any new updates become available. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
