FSB view

I have SuSE 9.2 and have two annoyances with Konqueror. 1. Each time I open Konqueror, I must reset the view mode to a non-default value that I prefer. Is there a way to set Konqueror to remember my preference in view mode? 2. directories are sorted to the bottom after all files. Is there some way to make directories appear at the top with files underneath? Thanks for helping with what is probably a simply problem. Joe
