I'm having the same problem with 1.4 as I did 1.3.92. Going from folder to folder is REALLY slow! I mean 3 seconds or so. Also my calendar doesn't work. No matter where I click...no calendar. Also resizing the screen and other screen movements are jerky and slow. Other than that, it starts really fast and everything else "seems" to work. Maybe I had a bad beta install. I just installed over it. How would I uninstall 1.4? Will it banish my current emails and addresses? I installed via Synaptic with ULB files...thanks James! (I don't hold you responsible).
