Hi Everybody.
Has anyone tried upgrading their 9.3 installs with the KDE3.4.2 RPMs located at:

I always stick to the supplementary updates that are provided in YaST-compatible format. I used those recently released to upgrade to KDE 3.4.2. There were only a few anomalies: - Upon completing the update, I logged out so all the new code could be loaded / activated. The X.org server (and / or KDM) never came back. I rebooted and all was well. - Kat has appeared in my tray (unbidden, though not really unwelcome), but it does not work. I can bring up its control panel and configure an index, but attempting to start the indexer has no effect. Running katdaemon from the command line produces this: % katdaemon katdaemon: symbol lookup error: /opt/kde3/lib/libkatdaemon.so.0: undefined symbol: _ZTV12KAboutDialog - As usual with any KDE or X configuration change, many of my desktop icons were pushed to the top of the screen. Other than that, all seems well, so far.
and If so, have there been problems?
As above. Nothing serious, except perhaps the breathless few minutes while I waited to see if the reboot would bring back my X server.
